Job summary

Rolls-Royce Motor Cars is offering a 13-month placement year in Goodwood for students pursuing a bachelor’s degree with a aim of 2:1 or better. You will support analytics, planning and implementation for the Aftersales Parts Operations, working with various departments and suppliers to improve material flow, stock accuracy and reporting.

You’ll gain hands-on insights from day one, participating in improvement projects, data reviews and reporting for KPIs, with a competitive salary and employee

Qualifications

• Studying towards a bachelor's degree and on track to achieve a 2:1 or above.
• Analytical, logical and self-motivated individual.
• Able to think creatively and off own initiative.
• Multi-task whilst maintaining structure and attention to detail.
• Good communication skills with ability to assert oneself.
• Good knowledge of MS Office package.

Responsibilities

• Supply chain and packaging improvements across multiple suppliers to improve material flow and reduce costs.
• Analyse sales, transport and logistics data to identify cost-saving opportunities and process improvements.
• Stock analysis to support inventory accuracy and optimisation.
• Material master data review to improve data quality.
• Daily and weekly reporting including new reports and presentations to monitor KPIs.
• Support project activities on-demand and drive process improvements for Parts Operations.
