Job summary

Rolls-Royce Motor Cars Ltd. invites a placement year student to join the Inbound Transport team at Goodwood, gaining practical exposure to transport management within a global supplier network. The role covers daily tasks, reporting, data analysis, and collaboration across internal departments.

You will work on updating performance reports, tracking inbound material, and supporting network strategy, with opportunities for hands-on project management and process improvements.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a business oriented degree with a 2:2 or above.
• (Strong) MS Excel and MS Office skills.
• Ability to solve problems and work under pressure.
• Experience with data analysis is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Update Transport Service Provider performance reports (monthly inbound).
• Handle material delivery queries and tracking.
• Perform emergency delivery administration and tracking to ensure on-time parts delivery.
• Report transport related haulier claims including transport damages and missing parts.
• Conduct process analysis, monitoring and improvement activities.
• Inbound transport (DLSS) system administration.
• Support network strategy implementation to prepare providers for new supply chains.
• Project management responsibilities.
