Job summary

Snozone Holdings Limited in Milton Keynes is seeking a Piste Basher Operative to groom the slope and support park and maintenance teams from behind the wheel of the piste basher. Shifts start at 10pm and run for 2–3 hours, offering a night-hours role in a vibrant winter environment.

You will maintain equipment, follow the snow slope plan, and assist the rental team while staying safe and professional with guests.

Qualifications

• Previous experience with piste basher vehicles.
• Competence in operating the piste basher safely.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Flexible approach, multitask and use good judgement.
• Well presented with a professional approach and able to interact with guests.
• Full clean driving license.

Responsibilities

• Snow maintenance of the venue.

Job description

We are looking for a Piste Basher Operative to join our Milton Keynes team!

If you are experienced in driving a similar vehicle and would like a night shift with a view, then we would love to hear from you.

You will be responsible for working with our freestyle park and maintenance teams to groom the slope, push and build park features all from behind the wheel of the Piste Basher. Shifts are from 10pm onwards for 2-3 hours.

Responsibilities:

• 1) Responsible for the snow maintenance of the venue.
• 2) Perform piste grooming shifts as per the snow slope plan, safely and to a high standard.
• 3) Ensure that any equipment used in the course of your duties is well maintained and driven with care and attention as if it were your own.
• 4) Undertake both planned and responsive maintenance tasks alongside the maintenance team.
• 5) Thoroughly complete and sign off the piste basher checklist at the start and end of every shift.
• 6) Complete re-fuelling in line with Company policy.
• 7) Provide direction to the rental team members who are assisting and supporting on the shift.
• 8) Where necessary, communicate with and assist contractors on technical challenges that arise from grooming the snow slope.
• 9) Identify and report the need for any repairs to the vehicle or any other snow slope equipment.
• 10) Attend any mandatory training and departmental meetings.

The Person:
