Job summary

A leading engineering recruitment firm is seeking a Pipe Fabricator Welder in Wrexham. The role involves cutting, bending, and welding carbon and stainless steel pipes in a workshop setting. Ideal candidates will have strong fabrication, TIG, and MIG welding experience. This position offers a PAYE pay rate of £22.00/hr, with potential for weekend overtime. The role starts immediately and is expected to last 3-4 months.

Qualifications

  • Workshop experience in a fabrication environment is essential.
  • Experience with both TIG and MIG welding methods is required.
  • Previous welding codings in TIG and MIG is an advantage.

Responsibilities

  • Cutting, bending, grinding, and fabricating carbon and stainless steel pipe.
  • TIG welding on stainless pipe and MIG welding on carbon pipe in multiple positions.

Mon-Thurs 7am till 5pm, Fri 7am till 3pm + Weekend Overtime available

PAYE Pay Rate:

£22.00/hr (including £2.37/hr Holiday Pay)

The Role:

Due to some recent major contract wins, our client is recruiting additional Pipe Fabricator Welders to join their busy workshops in Wrexham. Duties will include cutting, bending, grinding, fabricating carbon and stainless steel pipe, as well as TIG welding on stainless pipe and MIG welding on carbon pipe in multiple positions.

Requirements:
  • Workshop experience
  • Fabrication and TIG and MIG welding experience
  • Current / previous welding codings in TIG & MIG welding an advantage
