Job summary

Laing O'Rourke is seeking a site supervisor in Leiston, United Kingdom, to lead safety on piling works and oversee crane operations. You will ensure compliance with all instructions and permits, inspect pile protection, and maintain quality against project specifications.

You will manage site paperwork, keep records up to date, and support financial recovery efforts. A CPCS Blue (or higher) and NVQ Level 3 / Gold Supervisor are required. Experience with LDA/CFA piling is advantageous.

Qualifications

• Must demonstrate leadership to meet safety targets.
• Experience supervising crane operations and pile protection.
• Competence in applying construction standards and quality checks.

Responsibilities

• Lead achievement of safety targets and promote safe working practices.
• Ensure works are in line with Work Instructions, Method Statements, Risk Assessments and Environmental Plans.
• Ensure all permits are in place prior to works commencing.
• Act as Crane Supervisor and pile protection inspector.
• Ensure quality meets specification and raise NCRs when needed.
• Understand pile design requirements and ensure correct delivery on site.
• Complete and submit site paperwork weekly.
• Maintain accurate records and support financial recovery.

Job description
