A technology solutions provider in the UK seeks a Physical Security & Access Control Engineer. This role involves planning, installation, and service of security systems while ensuring compliance with safety standards. Candidates should have a City & Guilds Level 3 Certificate in Electronic Security and experience in client communication. Familiarity with fault diagnosis is essential. The position offers on-site work primarily at various job sites, with some tasks performed in the office.
Responsible for planning, testing, installation, and service of physical security and access control systems for various job sites. BTO participant ensuring projects are delivered within agreed timescales by interpreting project plans and recommending any modifications that may be needed for the successful sign-off and job commissioning. Also acts as a liaison between the engineers and the clients, making sure that everyone is aware of the job's progress and any issues that have arisen during implementation. Responsible for post-implementation fault finding, testing, and the repair of audio‑visual equipment for various job sites.
