Job summary

Boots Pharmacy is looking for a Pharmacy Technician to deliver outstanding patient-centred service across our stores. You will lead dispensary teams, triage patients and guide colleagues to maintain high standards of care.

As part of Boots, you’ll use pharmacy systems to advise on medicines, manage stock and ensure safe, ethical decision-making. Training and development opportunities are available within a supportive network.

Qualifications

• Registered with the relevant pharmacy regulator (GPhC).
• Experience coaching and leading a dispensary team is desired.
• Strong communication and organisational abilities.
• Commitment to delivering excellent patient care.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert, tailored advice to patients about medicines and related products.
• Deliver services as required by store needs.
• Build relationships with the team; coach and inspire high standards of care.
• Assist with patient triage and distribution of prescription handouts.
• Own legal, safe and ethical decision-making in the pharmacy.
• Manage stock, workload, orders and handling of controlled drugs while ensuring safety.
