Job summary

Boots is seeking a Dispenser to support the pharmacist and healthcare team in a busy store environment in the UK. You will dispense prescriptions, provide patient care and advice, and help ensure safe sale of medicines in line with SOPs.

You will work with store healthcare professionals to support pharmacy services, manage repeats, and promote adherence while developing your healthcare knowledge and career options, including training as a Pharmacy Technician or part of the store leadership team.

Qualifications

• Completed the Pharmacy Advisor NVQ2 (or equivalent) or currently working towards and have completed the first year of an MPharm.
• Current and valid UK right to work; role is not eligible for sponsorship for a Skilled Worker Visa.
• Experience working in community pharmacy is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prescription dispensing while ensuring the safe supply of medicines (ordering medicines, labeling, endorsing and collection).
• Assist in the management and delivery of pharmacy services with other healthcare professionals in-store.
