Boots in the UK is seeking a Dispenser to join our pharmacy team in-store. You will support the pharmacist, dispense prescriptions, and provide medicines advice to patients, helping ensure safe and efficient service.

This role is in-store across the UK with no remote applicants. You will work with SOPs, develop healthcare knowledge, and there are career development options including training as a Pharmacy Technician or part of the store leadership team.

Qualifications

• Must have Pharmacy Advisor NVQ2 (or equivalent) or currently working towards first year of an MPharm.
• Current and valid UK right to work; role not eligible for sponsorship for a Skilled Worker Visa.
• Experience in community pharmacy is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Dispense prescriptions while ensuring the safe supply of medicines (labelling, dispensing, endorsing, collection).
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals in-store to deliver pharmacy services.
• Provide care and advice to patients about medicines and refer queries to the Pharmacist as appropriate.
• Follow SOPs to support safe and legal dispensing of prescriptions.
• Keep up to date with new store innovations and comply with operational processes.
• Support patients to manage their prescriptions and medicines to promote adherence and reduce waste.
