Healthxchange, a leading UK/IE distributor in medical aesthetics, is hiring a Pharmacy Assistant/Dispenser in London. You will handle, store, and verify aesthetic and pharmaceutical products, ensuring accuracy and compliance within a process-driven environment.

The role requires prior pharmacy experience, NVQ Level 2, and familiarity with inventory systems. A strong attention to detail, teamwork, and safety adherence are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Experience in a pharmacy environment.
• NVQ Level 2 or equivalent.
• Familiarity with inventory management systems.
• Ability to lift and carry moderately heavy loads.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Teamwork and collaboration skills.
• Adherence to health and safety guidelines.
• Secondary school examinations or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, and verify incoming product shipments.
• Ensure all items match the accompanying documentation.
• Report any discrepancies or damages to relevant internal stakeholders.
• Safely and securely store pharmaceutical products in designated areas.
• Maintain accurate inventory records using computerized systems.
• Monitor expiration dates and ensure proper rotation of stock.
• Accurately pick and pack orders for delivery to various locations.
• Prepare pharmaceutical products for shipment in compliance with regulations.
• Provide final accuracy check of dispensed medicines.
• Conduct regular quality checks on stored and shipped products.
• Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) to maintain product integrity.
• Adhere to all health and safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment.
• Follow proper procedures for handling hazardous materials.
• Work closely with other team members to coordinate workflow.
• Communicate effectively with pharmacists, delivery personnel and other relevant stakeholders.
