Job summary

Boots in the UK is seeking a Dispenser to join our in-store pharmacy team. You will support the pharmacist in dispensing prescriptions, advising patients, and ensuring safe, compliant service.

Based in London area stores, the role is in-store (on site). You will work with healthcare colleagues, follow SOPs, promote adherence, and develop your pharmacy skills with training and progression opportunities.

Qualifications

• Completed the Pharmacy Advisor NVQ2 (or currently working towards and have completed the first year of an MPharm).
• Current and valid UK right to work. This role is not eligible for sponsorship for a Skilled Worker Visa.
• Experience in community pharmacy is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prescription dispensing while ensuring safe supply of medicines.
• Work with healthcare professionals in-store to support pharmacy services.
• Provide care and advice to patients about medicines and refer queries to the Pharmacist.
• Follow SOPs to support safe and legal dispensing of prescriptions.
• Keep up to date with new store innovations and comply with processes.
• Support patients to manage prescriptions and promote adherence.
