Job summary

Asda Kingswood is seeking a Pharmacy Colleague to join our in-store pharmacy team on a part-time fixed-term contract. You’ll assist the Pharmacist, assemble and process prescriptions, and help customers with health-related services.

The role requires 16 hours per week, day shifts, weekend work, and an enhanced safeguarding check. Training will progress from Medicine Counter Assistant to Dispensing Assistant within six months to advance your pharmacy career.

Qualifications

• Enhanced safeguarding check required.
• Good computer skills, attention to detail.
• Confident and friendly customer communication.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and process prescriptions accurately.
• Assist Pharmacist and support patient services.
• Promote Pharmacy services such as Prescription Collection.
• Collect prescriptions from doctor surgeries and bring to store.
• Support record keeping for patient services (blood pressure checks, stop smoking).
