Job summary

Asda in Bideford is seeking a Pharmacy Colleague on a permanent part-time basis. You will work days, about 20.5 hours weekly, assembling and processing prescriptions and assisting customers with healthcare needs.

You’ll support the Pharmacist, promote extra services, and complete an accredited course to become a Medicine Counter Assistant within 6 months, progressing toward Dispensing Assistant training.

Qualifications

• Pass an enhanced safeguarding check.
• Willingness to work flexible day shifts, including weekends.
• Commitment to high-quality customer healthcare service.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and process prescriptions accurately.
• Promote and explain pharmacy services (e.g., Medicines Use Reviews).
• Support the Pharmacist with patient services and records.
• Collect prescriptions from GP surgeries and prepare for collection.
