Job summary

Syneos Health, Inc. in Manchester, England seeks a Senior Learning Strategy Consultant to lead strategic learning design and delivery for pharmaceutical clients.

You will partner with customers to assess capability needs, translate requirements into structured, outcome-driven solutions, and oversee multi-modal content development for impactful adoption. You will also drive delivery excellence, enable train-the-trainer sessions, and contribute to business development efforts as needed.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in learning with strong knowledge of instructional design and adult learning principles within the pharmaceutical/biotech industry (required).
• Proven experience in developing high-quality short-, medium-, and long-form content across a range of learning formats.
• Builds trusted relationships and consistently aligns solutions to customer needs and business outcomes.
• Highly organised, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver high-quality outputs within timelines.
• Strong ability to communicate complex ideas clearly and credibly, engaging both customers and internal stakeholders.
• Proactive in identifying challenges and implementing practical, effective solutions in a dynamic environment.
• Advanced PowerPoint and writing capability, with experience in consulting or training environments.
• Willingness to travel (~10%) to support customer engagements and key delivery activities.

Responsibilities

• Lead Capability Needs Assessment: diagnose gaps and translate insights into outcome-driven learning strategies.
• Design Learning Journeys & Roadmaps: define curriculum structure, modality mix, and sequencing.
• Align Strategy with Customer Objectives: ensure solutions meet project intent and performance goals.
• Oversee Content Development & Quality: guide writers and contribute to multi-modal learning solutions.
• Drive Delivery & Facilitation Excellence: run training sessions and train-the-trainer programs.
• Support Pitch & Proposal Activity: help shape customer-focused solutions.
• Identify Customer Needs & Opportunities: inform solution direction from market insights.
• Collaborate Across Teams: work with Design, Delivery, and senior stakeholders.
