Job summary

Syneos Health Commercial Solutions is seeking a Senior Medical Learning Strategist to lead medical education strategy, content development, and governance across multidisciplinary learning programmes for medical, clinical, commercial, and field-based audiences.

The role requires translating complex scientific information into learner-focused learning journeys, guiding cross-functional teams, and ensuring regulatory and ethical compliance, with a focus on impact, quality, and business objectives.

Qualifications

• Ability to interpret complex scientific and medical information for learning programmes.
• Experience with adult learning principles and curriculum development.
• Strong advisory, communication, and presentation skills for senior stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Provide senior medical and educational leadership across learning strategy, curriculum design, content development, and programme delivery.
• Advise customers and cross-functional teams on medical learning needs and strategic priorities.
• Translate scientific and clinical information into structured learning journeys and assets.
• Apply instructional design best practices to ensure training is effective and engaging.
• Define learning objectives, pathways, assessment approaches, and quality standards.
• Oversee medical writers, instructional designers, and project managers to deliver high-quality learning materials.
• Review learning content for clinical relevance, medical accuracy, and compliance with messaging.
• Provide governance to ensure compliance with regulatory and ethical standards.
• Support business development and client presentations with capability recommendations.
