Job summary

Syneos Health in Cambridge seeks an Executive Director of Business Development (Strategic Accounts) to drive enterprise-level sales growth through global account strategy and strategic partnerships.

You will navigate complex procurement, negotiate MSAs, and lead cross-functional teams to deliver tailored solutions for biopharma clients, while building long-term client relationships and forecasting market opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in a science-related field.
• Graduate Degree preferred.
• Proven experience in strategic sales and global business development.
• Significant experience in the clinical trial industry.
• Experience negotiating master service agreements (MSAs) and managing provider pursuits.
• Strong consulting, communication, and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Leads global business development across high-value accounts.
• Identifies and pursues enterprise-level opportunities, including MSAs and strategic alliances.
• Develops multi-year strategic growth plans for global clients.
• Advises client executives by understanding their business priorities and pipelines.
• Collaborates cross-functionally with operations, delivery, and legal to tailor solutions.
• Leads the development of high-impact proposals, RFP responses, and executive presentations.
• Maintains CRM records including account strategy, contacts, opportunities, and communications.
• Represents Syneos Health at industry events and client meetings to generate opportunities.
