Jollyes Pets in Chippenham is seeking a hands-on Retail Store Manager to lead daily store operations, coach a team, and deliver exceptional customer service for pets. You will drive sales, margin, and store standards while managing costs and ensuring regulatory compliance.

The role offers a competitive salary (£30,000 - £34,000 p.a.) with a bonus potential up to £5,000 p.a. and a comprehensive benefits package. This is a full-time, on-site position with weekend coverage as needed.

Qualifications

• Previous retail store management experience.
• Hands-on leadership with coaching approach.
• Comfort coaching upselling and add-ons.
• Sound decision-making and people development.
• Ability to manage P&L and maintain store standards.
• Own transport with UK driving licence.
• Weekend shift availability.

Responsabilités

• Lead store operations and KPI management.
• Coach team through live customer interactions.
• Drive turnover and gross margin while controlling costs.
• Deliver excellent customer service and pet care.
• Recruit, train, and develop staff.
• Ensure health and safety and legal compliance.
• Report to Regional Manager and share best practices.
