Job summary

inspiring vet care, Wellpets, is seeking a friendly Receptionist to join our small animal practice on a part-time permanent basis. You will be the first point of contact for clients, delivering a welcoming, professional and compassionate experience at every interaction while supporting appointment bookings and client communications.

This 16‑hour‑per‑week role operates Mon–Sat with no bank holidays or out-of-hours work.

Qualifications

• Experience in a customer-facing role with strong service focus.
• Friendly, organised and customer-focused approach.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a busy environment.

Responsibilities

• Welcoming patients and clients, making appointments, telephone enquiries, taking payments and further administrative tasks.
• Deliver outstanding customer service and support the client journey.
• Work closely with clinical and non-clinical colleagues to ensure a smooth operation.
• Maintain a professional, welcoming manner at all times.
• Contribute to a positive, collaborative team environment.
