Preston Vets for Pets is seeking a friendly receptionist to join our team. You will greet clients and their pets, manage bookings and payments, and support the practice with day-to-day operations. A strong focus on excellent client service and computer literacy is required.

Role is part-time (25 hours/week, with Saturday shifts, increasing to 29 hours in January 2026). Previous receptionist and client-facing experience are essential, with no progression into a clinical position promised.

Qualifications

• Previous receptionist experience desirable.
• Previous client-facing experience essential.
• Good communication and friendly manner.

Responsibilities

• Greet clients and pets as they arrive at the practice.
• Manage payments and future bookings using the online booking system.
• Coordinate day-to-day routines and assist the clinical team as needed.
• Handle multiple communication streams (in-person, email, telephone).
