Job summary

Vets for Pets in Middlesbrough (TS6 6UX) is hiring a part-time receptionist to join our friendly team. You will greet clients and their pets, guide them on services, manage payments and bookings, and help keep the daily routine running smoothly using our online booking system.

This 30-hour-per-week role includes one in three Saturdays. The ideal candidate is welcoming, calm under pressure, computer literate, and passionate about giving great service to clients and their pets.

Qualifications

• Experience in a customer-facing role within a veterinary or retail setting.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Comfort with payment processing and bookings.

Responsibilities

• Greet clients and their pets at the practice entrance.
• Provide guidance on services and practice offerings.
• Process payments and book future visits.
• Support daily reception duties and use the online booking system.
