Job summary

Preston Vets for Pets is seeking a receptionist to be the welcoming face for clients and their pets. You will provide guidance on our services, handle in-person, email and phone inquiries, and ensure a smooth reception area experience.

Strong computer literacy and the ability to use our online booking system are essential. The role is part-time (25 hours per week, Saturdays included) with an increase to 29 hours from January 2026.

Qualifications

• Previous receptionist experience is desirable.
• Previous client facing experience is essential.

Responsibilities

• Greet clients and their pets on arrival, offering guidance and support.
• Manage payments and upcoming bookings with confidence using the online booking system.
• Coordinate day-to-day practice routines and ensure smooth workflow of the reception area.
