Job summary

City of Bristol College is seeking a Personal Development Tutor to support students throughout their academic journey, delivering weekly Personal Development tutorials and conducting pastoral check-ins to promote personal, social, and emotional well-being.

You will build strong relationships with students, colleagues, and external partners, offering empathy and guidance to help remove barriers to learning and enable them to thrive.

Qualifications

• Strong communication and relationship-building abilities.
• Pastoral support and signposting to appropriate services.
• Ability to foster student well-being and resilience.

Responsibilities

• Deliver Personal Development tutorial sessions weekly.
• Conduct pastoral check-ins with students and provide tailored support.
• Signpost students to relevant services and resources.
• Build positive, trusting relationships with students and staff.
