Job summary

Cheshire College South and West is seeking a Personal Development Tutor at Ellesmere Port Campus to support students with pastoral care, progression and personal development themes.

You will deliver group tutorials on Employability, British Values, Equality, Diversity and Prevent, conduct inductions and monitor attendance and wellbeing using college systems, while working with colleagues to ensure high standards for all students.

Qualifications

• Deliver group tutorial sessions on personal development themes.
• Support student induction and wellbeing with a proactive, empathetic approach.
• Identify and refer pastoral concerns to specialist services when needed.
• Encourage learner participation in enrichment and learner voice activities.
• Monitor attendance and progress using college systems.

Responsibilities

• Deliver group tutorial sessions covering Employability, British Values, Equality and Diversity, and Prevent.
• Conduct effective personal inductions and foster belonging and resilience.
• Refer students to specialist services for safeguarding or wellbeing concerns.
• Support learners' academic/personal progress and review targets.
• Promote enrichment and learner voice activities.
