City of Bristol College is seeking a Personal Development Tutor to support students throughout their academic journey, delivering weekly Personal Development tutorials and conducting pastoral check-ins to promote personal, social, and emotional well-being.
You will build strong relationships with students, colleagues, and external partners, offering empathy and guidance to help remove barriers to learning and enable them to thrive.

You will meet with groups of students weekly to deliver engaging and meaningful Personal Development tutorial sessions, designed to empower them to thrive both personally and academically.
In addition to delivering these sessions, you will conduct pastoral check-ins with students, offering tailored support and signposting them to appropriate services to help address their individual needs. Through these interactions, you will build positive, trusting relationships with students, understanding their curriculum and offering empathy and compassion to help remove barriers to their learning.
You will bring strong communication skills and the ability to build and maintain excellent working relationships with students, colleagues, and external stakeholders. Your confidence and approachability will help create a supportive environment where students can reach their full potential.
