Job summary

Bradford Council is seeking a Peripatetic Customer Support Assistant to cover Eccleshill and Laisterdyke Libraries. You will work across locations, cover sickness and annual leave, and follow a weekly rota that assigns hours and sites.

The role involves welcoming customers, helping them find books, running library services, supporting Storytime and Rhymetime, and assisting with stock and safety. Training is provided, and weekend/evening hours may apply.

Qualifications

• Experience in a customer-facing environment.
• Good literacy, numeracy and IT skills.
• Willingness to learn new digital systems.
