A community health service in Aylesford is looking for a Lead Health Visitor specializing in Perinatal and Infant Mental Health. This role involves supporting the development of health services, providing expert clinical leadership, and implementing multi-disciplinary care pathways. Candidates should be qualified Health Visitors with expertise in mental health, have a full UK driving licence, and possess strong leadership and training skills. This is an exciting opportunity for you to join the Kent Health Visiting Service as a Perinatal and Infant Mental Health Lead Health Visitor. The Lead Health Visitor for Perinatal and Infant Mental Health will be responsible for supporting the development and implementation of the Health Visiting Service’s Perinatal and Infant Mental Health offer. They will work in the locality areas of West Kent (Tonbridge and Malling, Tunbridge Wells and Maidstone) to provide expert clinical leadership to the Health Visiting Service and multi-disciplinary teams in relation to Perinatal and Infant Mental Health and Parent and Infant Relationship. The post holder will ensure the development and implementation of comprehensive multi-disciplinary care pathways, policies and procedures to address the mental health needs of women, infants, and their families in the perinatal period, actively working in collaboration with other services.
Qualified Health Visitor leader with expertise in Perinatal and Infant Mental Health, Parent and Infant Relationship. Experience in multi-disciplinary care pathways and evidence-based practice. Full UK driving licence or equivalent EU licence. Commitment to equity, diversity and inclusion.
