Job summary

Bedfordshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a practising midwife with expertise in bereavement care, risk management and perinatal mortality. The post holder will review and report cases such as late miscarriages, stillbirths, and neonatal deaths in line with national guidance.

They will translate learning from reviews into measurable improvements in clinical care, develop new pathways, policies and education, and work with the Education Midwifery Team to embed learning into maternity

Qualifications

• Practising midwife with knowledge of bereavement care, risk management and perinatal mortality.

• Review, capture, and report perinatal loss cases in line with national guidance.
