Job summary

The Ministry of Justice - London Probation Service, within the London Regional Performance & Quality Team, seeks an experienced officer to support local clusters, drive quality improvement, and monitor performance against national indicators. You will work in a small team with hybrid working available, and you may handle a regional portfolio as required.

Applicants should have probation operational experience, a DBS check, and strong analytical skills to collate data, identify trends, and report

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 4 or equivalent in a relevant subject, or appropriate practical experience.
• Experience in performance management and quality improvement.
• Operational experience in a probation setting and familiarity with quality systems.

Responsibilities

• Support local delivery clusters in meeting service delivery indicators.
• Develop and deliver a quality improvement programme for the division.
• Identify local performance issues and opportunities linked to priorities.
• Run improvement initiatives and monitor effectiveness of plans.
• Prepare management reports and data analyses for SLA reviews.
