Job summary
The Ministry of Justice's NOMS Agency is hiring a Performance & Quality Officer to work with Local Delivery Units in the National Probation Service. The role supports delivering national indicators, leading a division-wide quality improvement programme and analysing performance trends.
Hybrid working is available, with DBS standard checks required. Experience in probation, performance management and quality systems is essential, along with proficiency in MS Word/Excel/Access/Outlook and database
Qualifications
- NVQ Level 4 or equivalent in a relevant subject, or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience in performance management and data analysis.
- Operational experience in a probation setting and quality improvement initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Ensure LDU clusters deliver to agreed national service delivery indicators.
- Develop and deliver a division-wide quality improvement programme.
- Identify local performance issues and align with HMPPS priorities.
- Run improvement initiatives to address performance opportunities.
- Monitor performance plans and report on contract performance.
- Analyze data trends and recommend actions to maintain performance.
- Support equality and diversity across LDU clusters.
