Job summary

The Methodist Church in Britain is recruiting for a Performance & Quality Officer within the Probation Service Yorkshire and the Humber. The role oversees regional performance targets, travels across the region, and runs a quality improvement programme.

The post is fixed-term to 18 January 2028 with hybrid working available across the UK. Candidates should reference CV/work history and be prepared to deliver a presentation at interview.

Qualifications

Experience in CV or work history is required.
Ability to extract and analyse data.
Experience with BI tools is preferred.

Responsibilities

Ensure Probation Delivery Units deliver to agreed national service delivery indicators and specifications
Develop and deliver a quality improvement programme for the Yorkshire and the Humber region
Identify local performance and quality issues and opportunities linked to HMPPS priorities
Run improvement initiatives to address performance opportunities
Work with other Performance & Quality Officers to share best practice and improve quality and performance
Support Probation Delivery Units to achieve agreed performance targets
