Job summary

National Grid plc is seeking a Performance Insight Lead in Warwick to shape how performance is measured and improved across Asset Operations. The role focuses on developing KPIs, reporting solutions, and dashboards that enable informed decision-making for a reliable energy network.

You will partner with stakeholders, use Power BI and AI-powered analytics to translate data into actionable insights, and drive continuous improvement across the organisation.

Qualifications

• Experience developing and maintaining high-impact dashboards and visual analytics using Power BI and Tableau.
• Strong understanding of data modelling and data visualisation principles.
• Experience gathering, interpreting and refining business requirements to develop effective reporting solutions.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with ability to influence and balance priorities across multiple stakeholders.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify trends, risks and opportunities from data.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain Power BI dashboards and visual reports for data-driven decision making.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand performance objectives and reporting requirements.
• Leverage AI-powered tools to create insightful dashboards.
• Refine requirements to ensure metrics, KPIs and measures are right for the business.
• Partner with Data and Governance for trusted data foundations.
• Develop performance frameworks aligned to strategic goals across Asset Operations.
• Analyse trends and anomalies to identify insights and improvement actions.
• Facilitate performance reviews to drive data-informed actions.
