Job summary

Pharmaxo Group in Reading seeks a skilled People Partner to deliver strategic and operational HR support across its UK cancer centre businesses. Based in Reading with 1 day per week at the Corsham Site and regular travel to UK Cancer Centres, you will guide decisions, build capability and deliver positive people outcomes.

You’ll lead complex employee relations, coach managers, manage change, and drive workforce planning, engagement and development initiatives while partnering with senior leaders

Qualifications

• Strong generalist HR experience across a broad range of people disciplines.
• Significant employee relations experience, including complex case management and employment law knowledge.
• Excellent coaching skills with the ability to build confidence and capability in managers.
• Strong influencing and stakeholder management skills, with the credibility to work effectively with senior leaders.
• Experience working in a complex, fast paced, multi-site environment.
• Ability to work independently, manage competing priorities and make sound decisions in ambiguous situations.
• Strong analytical skills and confidence using data to support recommendations and drive action.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support complex employee relations matters, coaching managers through challenging situations and providing pragmatic, risk-based advice.
• Work on workforce planning, organisational change, management development, talent management and engagement initiatives.
• Translate business objectives into practical people solutions across the Cancer Centre business.
• Build capability through coaching, guidance and training across the regional People team.
• Analyse workforce data and insights to inform decisions and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Collaborate with the wider People & Capability team to deliver strategic priorities and projects.
