Job summary

The Marbrook Centre is seeking a Senior HR People Partner to align people strategy with high‑quality care across multiple sites, with a base at St Neots or Oakham. You will partner with service managers and senior leaders, provide expert employee relations guidance, coach managers, and drive workforce planning, engagement and recruitment alongside L&D, safeguarding and compliance.

Qualifications

• Strong employee relations and UK employment law knowledge.
• Excellent coaching, influencing and communication skills.
• Confident in advising and supporting managers through difficult situations.
• Experience using people data to inform decisions and identify trends.
• Balance strategic priorities with practical, hands-on HR delivery.
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to support multiple locations.
• Experience leading or developing HR colleagues.
• CIPD Level 7 or equivalent professional experience.

Responsibilities

• Partner with senior leaders on people strategy, workforce planning and organisational priorities.
• Provide expert advice on complex employee relations matters including disciplinary and performance issues.
• Coach managers to become more confident and capable people leaders.
• Use people data and trends to identify challenges and turn insight into action.
• Lead initiatives around retention, engagement, wellbeing and employee experience.
• Support workforce stability and reduce reliance on agency staffing.
• Work with Recruitment and Learning & Development to strengthen onboarding and career pathways.
• Ensure HR practices support safeguarding, compliance and wellbeing of residents.
• Lead, coach and develop an HR Officer to deliver a high-quality HR service.
