Job summary

apetito is seeking an HR Manager to partner with CS&D leaders, guiding workforce planning, employee relations and organisational change across Customer Services & Distribution. The role focuses on driving leadership capability, accountability and engagement, with travel between Portbury, Trowbridge and Avonmouth as required to support operational needs.

You will oversee HR governance, coaching managers, and delivering a consistent people agenda while shaping the workforce for a major investment

Qualifications

• Proven experience as an HR Manager/HRBP in a complex, multi-site environment.
• Strong knowledge of UK employment law, governance and risk management.
• Experience managing employee relations cases and supporting change/transformation.
• Excellent coaching, influencing and stakeholder management skills.
• Data-driven approach using HR metrics to inform decisions.

Responsibilities

• Be the dedicated HR Manager for CS&D, building relationships with CS&D leaders to address workforce challenges and plan for the future.
• Collaborate with the Director of HR to deliver a consistent people agenda aligned with policy and governance.
• Provide commercial, pragmatic HR advice, ensuring compliance and best practice.
• Lead and support organisational change initiatives, TUPE activity and workforce design.
• Oversee employee relations, escalate complex cases and ensure fair outcomes.
• Lead HR activity for the CS&D Investment Project, including transition to the new facility.
• Provide leadership to the Portbury-based HR Advisor and collaborate with the HR team.
• Monitor HR data to identify trends and opportunities, supporting evidence-based decisions.
