Job summary

Hugh Baird College is seeking a People & Culture Apprentice to join the Main Campus team. This full‑time, 15‑month apprenticeship offers hands‑on HR experience while studying towards a Level 3 HR Support Apprenticeship with CIPD Foundation Certificate in People Practice.

You’ll learn employee administration, payroll support, HR systems, compliance, recruitment, onboarding, and employee relations while supporting colleagues across the College.

• You don't need previous experience in People & Culture or HR.

Responsibilities

• Learn about all aspects of People & Culture while supporting colleagues across the College.
• Gain valuable workplace experience while studying towards a Level 3 HR Support Apprenticeship and CIPD qualification.
• As an apprentice, you'll learn about employee administration, payroll support, HR systems and records management, compliance and safeguarding, recruitment and onboarding, employee relations, and people‑focused projects.
