Job summary

DAC Beachcroft in Birmingham is seeking a proactive People Advisory Assistant to support the People team and deliver a high-quality colleague experience. The role covers the full spectrum of people processes, ensuring data accuracy and strict adherence to data protection standards.

You will be part of a collaborative team, liaising with People Advisors and Business Partners while maintaining confidential information.

Qualifications

• Previous administration experience within a HR/People team, ideally in a law or professional services environment.
• Familiarity with HR systems is preferred.
• CIPD qualification or working towards is advantageous.
• Client-focused with attention to detail and strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Act as first point of contact for general queries, manage the People Advisory mailbox and provide guidance on policies.
• Support all aspects of the colleague lifecycle and maintain accurate records for payroll and data protection compliance.
• Ensure HR systems are updated accurately and on time.
• Handle administrative processes such as probation, leave, leavers, and generate correspondence.
• Maintain absence records, produce reports, and escalate issues as needed.
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders and contribute to process improvements.
