Job summary

Artis HR is supporting a growing business in Cheltenham by appointing a People Advisor to work with the HR Manager on the full employee lifecycle and day-to-day queries.

You will coordinate recruitment, onboarding, and HR documentation while contributing to process improvements in a hands-on, smaller team. The role offers hybrid working, 25 days plus bank holidays, and additional benefits.

Qualifications

• Experience in an HR, People Advisor or HR administration role.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Ability to prioritise and use initiative.
• Proactive, approachable and practical attitude.
• Comfort in a smaller business with flexibility and involvement.
• Experience in a smaller business or less structured HR environment is advantageous.
• CIPD qualification or working towards is beneficial but not essential.

Responsibilities

• First point of contact for day-to-day HR queries.
• Support employee relations and maintain accurate records.
• Coordinate recruitment from posting to communications and interview arrangements.
• Manage onboarding administration for new starters.
• Draft and update HR documentation, including contracts, offers and policies.
• Support HR initiatives and improvements to HR processes.
• Maintain accurate employee records and assist HR administration.
