Job summary

Gloucestershire College is seeking an enthusiastic People Advisor to join our People team. You will provide practical People support and guidance to line managers and staff across employee relations, absence, recruitment and the employee lifecycle.

You'll work with colleagues across campuses (Gloucester, Cinderford, Cheltenham) on a variety of projects and activities, developing your knowledge in People Operations, Development, Payroll and Resourcing, while enjoying a supportive hybrid work

Qualifications

• Good understanding of HR policies, procedures and employment practices.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage competing priorities and work effectively to deadlines.
• Strong team-working and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide practical People support and advice to line managers and employees across employee relations, absence, recruitment and the employee lifecycle.
• Build relationships across the College and collaborate with different teams across campuses.
• Contribute to People projects and initiatives as we deliver the Strategic Plan 2026-2030.
