Job summary

Isio is seeking a talented Actuarial and Consulting Graduate Analyst in Manchester to develop analytical, consulting and communication skills for a career in pensions. You will work on real client projects, supported to study for the IFoA, with no prior pensions experience required.

You will build financial models, assess risks, and contribute to pension strategy discussions while learning from experienced colleagues on permanent, full-time basis.

Qualifications

• You must have completed an undergraduate degree or higher-level qualification by 20 September 2027 and achieved a 2.1 or higher.

• If you have studied a non-numerical degree subject, you must have achieved Mathematics at A level grade B or higher, or an equivalent qualification.

Responsibilities

• Apply actuarial concepts to calculate the value of pension and other benefits for employers and pension scheme trustees
• Build financial models and carry out risk analysis to help clients understand future pension commitments and key risks
• Support advice on pension strategy, day-to-day risk management and longer-term objectives
• Help clients understand accounting, tax and legislative changes that affect their pension schemes
• Prepare clear analysis and communications for colleagues and clients
• Attend client meetings, explain the team's work and follow up agreed actions
• Contribute to proposals for new business and share ideas that could improve the way we work
