Job summary

Isio is recruiting an Actuarial and Consulting Graduate Analyst in Belfast. You’ll develop analytical and communication skills while working on real client projects, valuing pensions and supporting risk management.

You will study toward the IFoA qualification and join a permanent role with structured development and a supportive team. You don’t need prior pensions or actuarial experience; the focus is on potential, learning mindset and collaborative problem solving.

Responsibilities

• Apply actuarial concepts to calculate the value of pension and other benefits for employers and pension scheme trustees.
• Build financial models and carry out risk analysis to help clients understand future pension commitments and key risks.
• Support advice on pension strategy, day-to-day risk management and longer-term objectives.
• Help clients understand accounting, tax and legislative changes that affect their pension schemes.
• Prepare clear analysis and communications for colleagues and clients.
• Attend client meetings, explain the team’s work and follow up agreed actions.
• Contribute to proposals for new business and share ideas that could improve the way we work.
• Your responsibilities will grow as your knowledge, skills and confidence develop.
