Job summary

Brightwell's Pensions Academy Training Programme starts January 2027 and trains you to deliver a best-in-class administration service to our members in line with Brightwell’s procedures.

The programme lasts about 9–12 months, with office-based work Monday to Friday. On successful completion you are promoted to Pensions Administrator with salary increased accordingly, commencing a continued careers path within Brightwell.

Qualifications

• Strong numeracy skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication
• Ambitious and highly motivated to learn
• Ability to work under pressure to meet timescales
• Strong work ethic and attention to detail

Responsibilities

• Complete RTC hands-on learning with a buddy and demonstrate you can handle casework
• Achieve the APE qualification through dedicated sessions
• Develop pensions technical knowledge including calculations for the pension scheme
• Participate in Leadership Development focusing on relationship building and coaching
• Administer a wide range of casework types such as transfers, retirements, data and bereavements
