Job summary

Pertemps in Gloucester is seeking a Customer Service Advisor for a 3-month temporary assignment. The role is office-based, Monday to Friday, 8:30am–5:00pm, with a salary of £28,000 pro rata per year.

You will handle customer enquiries across multiple channels, provide professional support, and work closely with colleagues to maintain excellent service levels during peak trading periods.

Qualifications

• Previous customer service experience required.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Good IT skills and ability to learn new systems quickly.

Responsibilities

• Respond to customer enquiries via phone, email and other channels.
• Deliver exceptional customer service at all times.
• Resolve customer queries efficiently and professionally.
• Process customer requests and update internal systems accurately.
• Liaise with internal departments to ensure issues are resolved promptly.
• Maintain accurate customer records and documentation.
• Escalate complex issues where required.
• Keep customers informed throughout the resolution process.
• Support the wider team during peak trading periods.
