Job summary

NHS Jobs is seeking a PBS Practitioner to manage a caseload of complex clients, delivering assessments and interventions across schools, hospitals, and community settings. The role requires a solution-focused, values-led approach and resilience in navigating complex situations.

You will collaborate with families, carers and networks, implement evidence-based behaviour support plans, and train mediators in the planned interventions while adhering to safeguarding and policy requirements.

Qualifications

• PBS Practitioner with Masters in Positive Behaviour Support or accredited qualification (BTEC Level 5 in PBS).
• Registered with UK-SBA as a practicing member or eligible to be.
• Experience with FBAs and developing function-based BSPs.

Responsibilities

• Manage a caseload of clients with complex needs.
• Conduct FBAs and develop function-based BSPs.
• Plan and implement evidence-based programmes to achieve positive outcomes.
• Train others in behaviour support techniques.
• Write reports and share findings with clients, mediators and networks.
