Job summary

Positive Support Group Limited is seeking a PBS Practitioner to manage a caseload of clients with complex needs, delivering assessments and interventions to improve quality of life across families and networks. The role requires empathy, collaboration with stakeholders, and strong data collection to measure progress.

Responsibilities include conducting FBAs, developing function-based BSPs, writing reports, and training mediators.

Qualifications

• PBS Practitioner with Masters in Positive Behaviour Support or accredited qualification (BTEC Level 5 in PBS).
• Registered with UK-SBA as a practicing member or eligible to be.
• Experience working with children, young people and/or adults with learning disabilities, autism, and/or mental health difficulties.
• Able to manage a caseload of clients with complex needs and conduct FBAs.

Responsibilities

• Manage a caseload of complex clients and deliver assessments and interventions.
• Undertake FBA and develop function-based BSPs.
• Write high-quality FBA reports and present findings to clients and networks.
• Plan interventions based on FBA and BSP findings.
• Train mediators in interventions outlined in BSPs and deliver clinical training.
