Job summary

Gloucestershire County Council is seeking a Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) Practitioner to work in the PBS team, including locations across Gloucestershire. The role requires delivering person-centred PBS interventions, conducting assessments and developing BSPs in partnership with health and social care colleagues.

The post offers full training and supervision where needed, with an emphasis on independence, inclusivity and flexible hours to cover evenings and locations outside standard

Qualifications

• Diploma in Positive Behavioural Support (QCF4) or equivalent (Applied Behavioural Analysis).
• Registered as a member of the UKSBA or willingness to register.
• Knowledge of PBS frameworks, theory and practice; PBS competencies.

Responsibilities

• Undertake Functional Assessments and develop BSPs.
• Work with individuals to understand needs and develop supportive environments.
• Collaborate with health and social care teams across Gloucestershire.
