Portfolio Group, exclusive representation of a fast-growing payroll solutions provider in Manchester, seeks a Payroll Onboarding Consultant / Team Leader to shape a new division and guide clients through transitions.

You will manage processing payrolls for diverse clients, build trusted relationships from day one, and support the payroll manager to deliver a first-class service. The role offers a modern Manchester City Centre office and real opportunities to influence direction and career growth.

Qualifications

• Passionate about payroll with ability to handle manual calculations and end-to-end processing.
• Experience supporting the payroll manager to lead the team and deliver a first-class payroll service.
• Bureau experience in fast-paced environments with strong client service and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Managing the processing payrolls for a multitude of diverse clients.
• Building strong relationships with new clients from day one, becoming their trusted payroll partner.
• Assisting the Manager to deliver a first-class payroll service.
• Ensuring all run results balance perfectly with previous providers.
• Guiding customers on service and system features, helping them get the most from their new payroll solution.
• Communicating clearly and concisely, always demonstrating excellent customer service.
