Job summary

Portfolio Credit Control is seeking a Payroll Onboarding Consultant in Manchester to lead the seamless transition of new clients onto our payroll platform. You will guide customers from their current provider, set them up for success from day one, and work closely with a supportive team.

This office-based role offers growth within a dynamic payroll bureau, opportunities to shape processes, build relationships, and develop expertise across end-to-end payroll transitions.

Qualifications

• Passion for payroll with strong numerical accuracy and end-to-end processing.
• Experience onboarding or implementing payroll systems is a plus.
• Excellent client service and relationship-building skills.
• Able to thrive in a fast-paced bureau environment.
• Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Manage the onboarding of new payroll clients and ensure seamless transitions.
• Build strong relationships with new clients from day one.
• Assist with parallel runs to verify accuracy.
• Ensure run results balance with previous payroll providers.
• Guide customers on service and system features.
• Communicate clearly and maintain excellent customer service.
