Job summary

RS Group is seeking an experienced payroll professional for a 6-month fixed-term contract in a hybrid role, based in Corby. You will support the UK and RoI payroll, ensuring accurate, on-time payment to over 3,000 employees and handling pension, tax, and statutory compliance matters.

Join our People Shared Services team to drive transformation, deliver excellent customer service, and collaborate with Finance, Reward and Pensions to optimise payroll processes while maintaining GDPR

Qualifications

• Payroll experience with end-to-end processing
• Knowledge of HMRC legislation: RTI, NLW, Holiday Pay, BIK, Working Time Regulations
• Excellent Excel skills for data analysis
• Ability to maintain strict confidentiality
• Experience using ADP payroll system is advantageous

Responsibilities

• Carry out transactional payroll activities within KPI targets and maintain operational excellence
• Provide end-to-end payroll service to the business
• Support delivery of operational excellence in payroll processes
• Resolve payroll-related queries within agreed timescales
• Support payroll provision for RS Group PLC in the UK and Ireland in line with statutory requirements
• Ensure employees are paid accurately and on time
• Collaborate with Finance, PSS, Reward and Pensions teams
• Continuously review and improve payroll processes to add value
