Job summary

Portfolio Credit Control is partnering with a large, fast-growing accountancy to recruit a Payroll Senior for a permanent role based out of the Sidcup office. The role is hybrid, requiring on-site presence 3 days per week and involves managing a portfolio of client payrolls with a focus on accuracy and timely delivery.

You will lead payroll processing across multiple clients, support junior staff, and contribute to continual improvement of payroll processes and systems.

Qualifications

• Experience processing payroll for multiple clients in an accountancy or practice.
• Hybrid role requiring Sidcup office presence 3 days per week.

Responsibilities

• Manage and process own portfolio of clients from start to finish.
• Proactively manage client deadlines, scope and service delivery.
• Oversee year-end processing and other statutory reporting.
• Implement and maintain robust internal quality control procedures for payroll processes.
• Act as primary point of contact for client queries.
• Assist with training and onboarding of new team members.
• Contribute to development and optimisation of payroll systems and workflows.
