Job summary

Portfolio Payroll Limited is seeking a Payroll Senior to join their team in the Harlow area on a permanent basis. The role combines office presence (3 days a week) with home working (2 days a week) to support a diverse client portfolio.

You will deliver high-quality payroll services and assist junior team members, taking responsibility for end-to-end payroll processing and ongoing process improvements within a busy bureau environment.

Qualifications

• Experience processing multiple clients' payrolls within a bureau or accountancy environment is essential.
• Experience with payroll software such as IRIS Payroll Professional or STAR is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Manage and process own portfolio of clients from start to finish.
• Proactively manage client expectations.
• Oversee year end processing and other statutory reporting.
• Implement and maintain robust internal quality control procedures for payroll processes.
• Act as a primary point of contact for queries.
• Assist with training and onboarding of new team members.
• Contribute to improvement of payroll systems and workflows.
